    Ingredients:

900 grams combi of pork ribs and chicken breast

    25 cloves of garlic

    Process

Blanche the pork ribs and chicken breast to remove gamey smell for 5 mins

Blanched meat to remove gamey smell

Rinse it under tapwater to clean the meats

Open the songfa packet and put both sachets together with the garlic cloves in a pot with 1800ml of water

Boil them first before placing the pork ribs and chicken breast in

Add 1/2 teaspn of dark soya sauce, 1/2 teaspn of light soya sauce

Shimmer the soup for another 1 hour

There you go!! BKT for the souls

Made mushroom sausage rice too using the rice cooker!

    Washed 1 and 3/4 rice

Put in cut up mushrooms and sausages.

Prepare mixture of 220ml of water with 1 tablespoon of light soya sauce

Pour the mixture into the rice cooker

    Mushroom sausage rice!

Thats all folks! Thanks for tuning in to my receipes!

Hope it helps anyone who is reading. Not going to be that fantastic, but at least i wanna let people know that boiling soups are not that tough after all!

  • Lotus pork rib soup

Since its a work from home day, decided to try out another soup receipe

    Ingredients

    500gm lotus root

    200gm pork ribs

    300gm chicken breast

    150gm peanuts

    6-8 red dates

    Process

    1. Wash the peanuts and put it in boiling water to soften the peanuts beforehand

    2. Wash the pork ribs and chicken breast

    3. Put them in a pot with tap water and boil it (this is to blanche the pork and chicken, remove gamey smell)

    4. When water starts to boil, wait about 2 mins, before rinsing the meat with cool water

    5. Prepare the lotus root. Wash clean and peel the skin of the lotus root. Cut them into irregular pieces of about 1cm thick (prepare this last as lotus root oxidises when exposed to air)

    6. Place all ingredients into a soup pot with 1800 litres of water and bring the soup to a boil

    Before the boiling begins

    7. Once its starts to boil, wait for it to boil for about 3-5mins before turning down the fire to low-medium heat to shimmer for 2hrs

    8. After 2 hours, you will have your lotus pork rib soup! Ta dahhhh!
