Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!! OKAY, dont really seem to have the VDAY mood cuz mid terms are tmr and i haven really started on anything yet. i didnt prepare anything except to wear the sponsored misaki contact lenses that i had gotten from the ambassador kit 🙂 My first time wearing cosmetic lenses, a rather interesting experience though.

There wasnt really a big difference cuz i didnt want it to be too obvious, but if you are near enough, you can notice the effects of the lenses which i think is rather pretty 🙂 Cosmetics lenses do make your eyes look brighter and pretty i guess!

As usual, i woke up late today (so annoyingly pissed at myself at first, but i was so tired) so w/o a choice i dragged myself out of bed and went to school to study after breakfast with daddy!! well valentine’s this year was unexpectedly AWESOME! ❤ celebrated with michelle and janice during lunch:) well we cant afford to squeeze more time out to enjoy our day.SO we celebrated V’day during lunch. We visited the Korean fair and guess what?? Mich bought me my first CNBLUE poster, omo, well what else can make me tat happy righttt??

I was damn lucky cuz this was the only poster that they had and they were like commenting that it was rare that there is CNBLUE fan around. well i guess Singapore is still not into live bands but rather more into kpop dance groups?? HMM anyways it was awesome that SMU held this fair and i was able to have a look around at this fair. It seems like KPOP is really quite a big thing now 🙂 we bought banana milk to drink :DD HAPPY MAX!

Hmm Lunch was at colors cuz they had the $5 dollar meal for the week 🙂 spend an awesome time catching up and I was asked to wear this sweet, girly ribbon hairband which michelle bought for me last year which i really couldnt imagine myself wearing. after looking at the photos, i thought it was not that bad. HAHAS but totally not my style. lol

we continued talking about stuffs which i can only remember the part on which angle to take so that we will look better in photos. hahahs sounds abit bimbo, but wells which girl doesnt want to look pretty rightt?? Polaroid taking was FUN, though we keep cutting mich’s face, but we really didnt mean it, cuz i tot we 3 were in the frame. i have bad estimation 😦

it was a really different and fun valentine’s day i had. Well i kinda valentine’s day back in SJC where we will be like exchanging chocolates and cookies 🙂 the feeling is nice, but hahahs not the chocolates, i dont really have a liking for stuffs like this. I’m thankful and glad that i was able to enjoy and appreciate all this wonderful and beautiful things in my life and keeping them as memories at the back of my mind. Really gladd and happy 🙂 Last post already! once again:

well i have no experience in this but well tomorrow will be my first time trying out cosmetics lenses 🙂 excited though but slightly worried cuz i wonder how would the feeling differ between a normal contacts and cosmetic lenses. HMM, well but i think some girls really look pretty when they wear it 😀 and i’m amazed how different people look when they put on cosmetic lenses. look at the difference below:

WOW right?? though cosmetics lenses is an awesome way to make one feel prettier, one should be mindful that it should not be worn daily. Rather, in my opinion, i think it should be worn for special occasions like maybe Valentine’s? special occasions are a good excuse for one to look prettier rightttt?

we shouldnt have cosmetics lenses replacing our normal contact lenses as: Colored contact lenses may result in compromised vision as the artificial pupil it creates for wearers are non-altering and will not be able to constrict and dilate to accommodate users’ viewing needs. The pigments that are present in colored contact lenses also cause greater accumulation of dirt, making cleaning more challenging than usual.

need to destress before i get back to my assignment. i know this is an excuse, but since i’m required to do this too so, let me stray away from my assignment first. kk i know i’m such a sloth.*admits* doing all sorts of weird stuff except my work.zzZZZZ

the problem that i will be addressing today is: wearing contact lenses pass its replacement date!!it seems like i’m guilty of almost all of the problems address by the campaign. *guilty max*

well wearing contact lenses pass the replacement date has been something which i think am seriously guilty of because of my seriously bad memory or short term memory (which people term as STM). i always cant rmb when was the last time i had changed my lenses. but probably for some it would be because they are too busy to buy new lenses on time.

we all know that using something long past it’s expiry date is bad, but we still commit to this mistake cuz probably the effects do not come in as immediate as like expired food that would taste bad if it’s expired.

Reasons why we need to replace our lenses on time: It is to prevent discomfort, dryness, blurred vision or allergic reaction that can result from a build-up of protein and lipid deposits on the lenses. Even when these symptoms do not show, wearing contact lenses pass its replacement date will subject your eyes to greater risk of the occurrence of these symptoms.

to prevent this from happening, what we can do is:

• purchase in bulk whenever possible; make good use of promotional discounts when buying in bulk (good to have substantiating pictures)
• Track your purchases or date of change on a calendar; set reminders or alarms for yourself on mobile phone
