Living in Denmark

Finally my long awaited long trip for the year. And yes my compliance leave too!! Seems like it’s been so long since i have traveled!!

Thanks to my beloved uncle who is ever so kind and willing to fetch me to the airport at wee mornings whenever I go on my holidays :))

Here’s us excited for our japan trippy! Started counting down for it since like 52days ago.

Trying out centre-parting for my hair too! Hahahas. is it a yay or a nay??
Taking the SQ line, decided that we shall be comfortable and make this a memorable trippy instead 🙂

this momentum of keeping the blog alive is not easy. lol. well at least i guess my blog is still not dead yet. shall try reviving it for my travel memories sake 🙂

This midweek break came in handy i guess 🙂 good choice too to have had training at CBP today thoughhh. Ended work super early and i even had the time to nap at home before heading out to meet my colleagues!

It was an awesome catch up session with some drinks, pretty good food and live music. I wouldnt say the place is fantastic, but just to chill and catch up with friends, the ambience is worth a thumbs up! I pretty much prefers the ciders there compared to the martinis, but the company is what matters to me more!

Daphhh and sharleen 🙂 my two closest cgats during my days in citi!! So funny how the 3 of us are all in different banks now. And like how its usually, when bankers meet, they always talk about work and clients. But yeah kinda did some gals talk too. Really nice to be able to keep in touch with them still though its been almost a year since i left citi 🙂 that for sure is one thing i do not regret at all as a decision.

On deepavali, happy holidays everyone…
Met up with cass for a movie!! Gone girl. WOAHHH. Its probably one of the better movies i have watched this year, tbh. How the filmwriter brought the twists to the show, it was totally messing my mind up. Hahahs but i guess that gives the thrill and suspense too, but not too good an idea to watch this show intending to go for a nice meal thereafter though. Hahahas after the movie, we had a good meal at ion — pork katsu curry which i cant remember whats the resturant name.

Quite a fruitful day considering that we crossed out quite a few errrands that we had to run for the week! And of course settling stuffs for japan trippy :))

Back to reality and work tomorrow but definitely feeling more recharged!!

Is being genuine and real…

How many of us truely embrace this?
Everyone has their own vested interest in every relationship that one has. Most of the time, yes we are selfish. Who can touch your heart and admit that what you have done is really selfless? I dont think i could be that selfless to anyone. Yes probably our parents, the only love that i believe is selfless.

How do you know if that person is truely genuine and real?

Sometimes what you hear and see is not necessarily the truth as we are all at times blinded by what we see or hear cause we choose to listen and only see what we would like to. Denying what sometimes is right in our face but we refuse to admit, cause at the very least, if its not said outright, we believe there is still a tweeny weeny bit of hope that we are able to hold on to.

But ultimately, we know its just us thinking too muchh. Indeed it has really been hard to tell a person’s sincerity anymore in the society that i am in now. But does it mean that i should treat people like others too and do away with all the being real and genuine?

Sometimes we need to feel it too, rather then just seeing or hearing things from the superficial level. Times when you know you are finding excuses for that someone, you know you are just denying it yourself.

I have gotten my own gold watch from Michael kors!! Tee hee super happy to have this BIRTHDAYY pressie and of course thank you my besties for making this year’s birthday such a memorable one for me ☺️
