New Year, New Beginning~
it’s the first day of the new year of 2015.
spent 5 hours packing a portion of my room such that it is decent for me to stay in and start a new year afresh. hahhahs probably i guess was totally a reflection of my personal life the last year. thank gawd these traits or habits are not exhibited during work. if not i would be in so much trouble.
a new year marks a new beginning.
even so i have so much to be thankful for the past 1 year.
thank you 2014 : for all the people who have been with me for the past one year. the career switch decision was definitely not an easy one, but i am so loving my current job scope NOW. No regrets! *okay i do complain and whine at times* and yes i do miss my ex-colleagues and working environment, but i do LOVE my current working environment and challenges and current colleagues equally as much. there is no perfect workplace i guess!
I am thankful for all the little small things in my life too.
Especially my family, I am thankful for all the simple once-a-week dinner at the coffeeshop right below my house with my parents, lazy slow walk to the new GIANT (previously shop-and-save) to just enjoy the aircon and to buy more of my favorite fruits to feed me, the various nagging about how messy my room is and how i screw up on somedays for not switching off the appliances and the every sunday get together with the extended family at my grandma’s and also her home cook food. I know i am not the most loving/ lovely daughter and granddaughter, but i will try my best to be a better one in the year 2015 🙂
Starting the first day of my year by packing my room! tee hee 😀
Now i am proud of myself!! heh heh

karyn’s wedding
FINALLY it’s the day. it’s my first closest friend wedding. we were so just talking about it 2 years ago where she first got proposed. and 1 year ago that she reminded us that her wedding is on the 27th december 2014 and that we still have time to plan for her hen’s night and stuffs as her bridesmaid. and WOAHHHH, now it’s D-DAY! cant believe it. pretty much excited for her and excited myself too, cause it’s my first time having to handle like the gatecrash and helped out my friend for her full entire day of wedding.
challenge #1 – definitely the bridesmaid dress. hahahs we all had difficulty learning how to tie it in the least awful manner

challenge #2 – preparing the gatecrash food stuffs. OMG the mealworms were such a funny and creepy task

the handsome groom

and to the beautiful bride! love her wedding gown 🙂
challenge #3 – ensuring for the bride that everything is in order and that she has to reach her husband’s place for tea ceremony before 11am.

food at the groom’s place while having the tea ceremony~

challenge #4 – taking photos together with the bride
challenge #5 – bride gets ready for her solemization. poor thing, she doesnt even get any rest at all. but oh wells, i guess this once in a lifetime thing is every woman’s dream to die for right, looking at how awesomely beautiful my friend is in her wedding gown
challenge #6- preparation for reception for wedding dinner

helping out at the reception table~
and the dinner finally starts!

challenge #7 – wrapping up for the day
cheer to the bride!! from the bridesmaid, xoxo ❤
it’s really a very warm and sweet day. feeling happy for karyn as i could totally feel the warmth and love that her husband or partner has for her. it’s really nice too, that through this event i have made quite a fair bit of good friends which is the bridesmaid. amazing how we all got along well even though it’s our first time meeting each other. i guess, friends of friends are usually similar to certain extend.ANYWAYS!! HAPPY WEDDING TO MY DEAREST KARYN!!
