Hello, I’m GENNNN

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by – Robert Frost-

  • researching is awful 😦

reading research papers is making me feel like puking. looking at the amount of words in the past few hours is making me dizzy.GOSH.

  • sudden interest in classical music

decided not to take my grade eight practical exam at all.cuz i dun have the time at all to practice. Looking at how demotivated i’m whenever i have to practice and also the pathetic amount of time i am willing to fork out for piano, i decided not to waste money and the risk.

well i’m not musically incline to start off with. initially, i learnt piano because my mum wanted me to learn it. She says that it is a good source of income in the future if there’s a need for me to stay at home. well maybe, but maybe not.tuition can be an alternative too.
But now, i started to have a slight liking for it. Watching videos of how people are able to play the wonderful pieces, i feel inspired. BUT i dont think i have that BURNING passion that some pianist possess that allows them to sit in front of the piano for 5-6hrs a day to practice their one song. HAHAHS i guess i learn for the pleasure and enjoyment of it 🙂

piano lessons seemed more interesting because i no longer have to play those pieces which are so technical and get to play more lovely pieces. have the sudden interest in classical music now. It’s really fascinating learning how music has evolved across the different periods and the stories behind the composition of each individual composer. SOME really famous and nice classical music that i really think they are AWESOME:

Beethoven –> Moonlight Sonanta, 1st Movement

The famous mysterious, almost haunting melody is dark and whisper like. The form of the first movement is a sort of “condensed” sonata. In other words, it plays the main melody, develops it, and then plays it again very similar to how it was originally played. Beethoven dedicated it to Countess Giulietta Guicciardi, a pupil of Beethoven. Shortly after their first few lessons, the two fell in love. After dedicating the Moonlight Sonata, it is believed that Beethoven proposed to her. Although she was willing to accept Beethoven’s proposal, forbiddance by one of her parents prevented her from marrying him.

    Mozart –> Turkish March

Frederic Chopin –> Nocturne In E Flat Major, Op.9 No.2

    FINALLY a break

chinese new year is over.so much emotions = HAPPINESS, ANGER , ,EXCITEMENT,FRUSTRATIONS , LOVE and EXHAUSTION. this is the least exciting chinese new year ever, though travelling to taiwan is something to be excited about, but the whole new year atmosphere was kinda lacking. i guess as we grow older, these festive seasons doesnt really bring that much excitement like how it was when we were still kids.

probably, this will be the last time i will go overseas during my school term.ITS damn stress and worrying to see the number of emails you have when you are back and the amount of work, SRSLY no joking  is SUPER alot. i just glad that its kinda more manageable now. and that i can have sometime to have sufficient rest. LOL but anyways, i’m just thankful to have great project mates who are really understanding when i was over in taiwan.

well taiwan trip was AWESOME cuz i ate damn alot of good food from those night market. i bet i have like put on like dunno how many kgs. hahahs shopping was okay only, since most clothes were like for the spring. BUT the tour guide is really bad. AS in tour guides are supposed to be knowledgeable about the history of their country and be able to bring tourists around monuments, sites and museums of a city or region interpreting in a clear and entertaining way to inform the visitor about the cultural and national heritage and environment. but i have learned nothing during this trip. The tour guide doesnt seem to know his stuffs and he’s not really very eloquent in the sense that he cant really express what he wants to say and that his mandarin was really very fluent, so the whole time, my whole extended family could not at all understand what he was talking about and also most of the time, other then asking as to watch videos or sing karaoke in the bus, he would be telling us irrelevant things like oil prices and land prices in TAIWAN??? i seriously think that the bus drive even does a better job as a tour guide den he does.

OH wells anyways its over. just hope that he will improve and be a better tour guide in the future. photos taken during the trip :))) baby kaeden has brought so much joy and happiness to all of us in the trip 😀

waiting to check in at 6 AM:)
