mid term break went past quickly, but definitely not just packed with school work. i think this is one of my well balanced break ever :DD work hard and play hard too! Had most of the projects done early in the week due to the need to collect data and work on transcribing which was really a pain in the ass and tedious. aigooo~ got so sick and tired of hearing my candidate’s voice over and over againnnn over the 3 days of transcribing. thank god i never dreamt of his voice. shall blog backwards :DD

SUNDAY

the last day of mid term break already! okay, was suppose to just nua at home and just go for gongyo at joy’s place and dinner at ah ma hse but ended up gg on an impromptu cycling session with Cass at pasir ris park! really amazed how fast the both of us warmed up to each other even though it has only been 7 weeks since i really know her? maybe all that KPOP stuffs and also IJ behaviors help to accelerate this process of ice breaking and relationship building. lol. cycling was fun, been so long since i last went which i cant recall if the pulau ubin was the last cycling session or there’s another one in between? But probably cycling on the weekend is a bad idea as there are so many people walking, skating, biking on the track which makes it super hard to maneuver around since we both arent really expert at cycling yet. Damn worried cuz cass fell and she said her ankle felt funny, luckily it wasnt anything serious so we stopped biking after an hour and slowly walked back to return the bikes while chatting 🙂 l totally love it when i can chat with someone about anything under the sun, like that kind of comfort and familiarity even though we just known each other. being on the same frequency and being able to connect is a really an important aspect for me, cuz i will only be able to start opening up to people when i’m comfortable and i’m able to relate to. i think i can be nice and easy going towards everyone, but being close with them, it would depends. well anyway we wanted to swing but we felt bad like we are waiting for the kids to get off the swing, so we headed for dinner at Manhattan fish market! food taste heavenly when you are really hungry :DD have been hungry quite often this entire break and my appetite went UP which IDK why. we managed to play the swing in the end and also see-saw 😀 AWESOME!! now we are happy to continue with the remaining 6 weeks of our SEM 😀

Friday

meetings in school. LONG day, but it was great cuz i had great company 😀 okay, all this talk about grad trip in Korea is getting me all excited!! dunno whether it’s cuz of the planning or because i get to travel with my friends or watsoever, but i’m definitely looking forward to it 😀 different group of friend which i am gg travelling with, i wonder what kind of memories and fun moments will we create. my motivation!

Thursday

Research is stressing me up! been reading sooooOO much stuff but haven found much important or useful stuffs? But i’m glad i’m meeting up with my loves. LOVE spending time with friends! they are the awesome-est people to hang out with, cuz it’s nothing but FUN when i am with them :)) managed to satisfy my ba kut teh cravings at a foodplace in clarke quay! HMMM the soup is DAMNNNN good, love it! of course the other side dishes like pig’s trotters. heh heh i know i’m a glutton. well we live to eat good food yeahh 😀

WEDNESDAY

been waiting for tonight excitedly!!heh heh cuz heading to janice’s house for sleepover to watch CNBLUE’s Bluestorm concert DVD which she had bought!! fangirling time~ hahahs it’s been such a long time since i last sleepover at my girlfriends house. we cooked ramyeon and tteok for dinner. whoo~ korean maggie noodles really taste NICEEEE.lol even though our noodles didnt look the way how it’s like that we see in korean shows or drama, but the taste for sure was SURPRISINGLY good. hahahs we were amazed though.

getting high on CNBLUE concert was interesting, lol cuz we see the fangirl side of each other. aigooo~ i wish i could attend CNBLUE concert for REAL at least once in my life, their vocals and stage charisma is really DAEBAK!

TUESDAY

interview for CCM data collection. anxious but i’m glad it turned out well. had lunch with cindy and catch up loads. realized that though i have 2 classes with her, i didnt really have much interactions with her cuz both of our classes we dont sit together, so we dont really talk much too. but really appreciate that she asked me to eat lunch together. hahas i know, i’m a very passive person. i dont really take initiative to start a message or contact someone specially, and i realized it is always others who initiate to meet up. okay but to really ensure that those friendships that i really value, maybe i should change and do something about it. HAHAS i think this is sooOO a libra trait lahhh. met up with gwen in the night to catch up too and we realise that we both have not really met since 2 semester ago though we would coincidentally bump into each other in school. hahahs the issue with us is that we both dun initiate and that has become a problem with both of us. LIBRAS ahhhhh. guess both of us have to make an effort to keep this friendship gg. but dinner and L4D session with her was AWESOME! hahahs we managed to clear a campaign, cuz this person joined our game halfway and i think we manage to clear it bcuz of him. hahhas fun catching up too. so many things happen since we last met, glad that we are finally meeting up!

tat’s all for mid term break. gotta focus and continue on remaining assignments, projects, job applications and grad trip planning for the last 6 weeks!!! HWAITING ~
