Anyway this is my first post as a Youth Ambassador for the contact lens care campaign that my friend is working on. A brief description of the project:
“At First Sight” is a youth oriented contact lens care campaign that stresses the importance of proper cleaning and tending of contact lenses amongst university students. The campaign arises due to an increasing trend of contact lens usage by youths for the purpose of a beautified appearance. However, a negligence to properly contact lens care results in a higher risk of eye infections and other eye health problems. “At First Sight” hopes to communicate the message of prioritizing eye health above appearances because the sights you share with your loved ones are the sights truly worth keeping.

They have been doing their pre-campaign activities over at various local universities in Singapore. Do go down and support if you guys are free yeahh?? I have completed my first activity today in SMU concourse where i had an interesting time learning more about tarot cards and also about good contact lens care :))
the tarot reading session is an event to bring awareness to us,the undergrads, about the improper use of contact lens due to our busy and hectic school life through a fun and interesting way and also to educate and advice us on the importance of good eye care which is really really important. i could totally agree on all the bad habits that she was talking about and feel guilty that i am not taking good care of my eyes. So hopefully, people reading this would also learn something important and be determine to practice good contact lens care for our future enjoyment 😀 i know it’s hard but i’m sure it’s possible. below are some of the photos of the tarot reading sessions with other SMU students.
